Get one of our Air Vent Gauge Pods so you have a clear view of whatever type of 52mm gauge you're trying to mount.
These snap into place where your original air con vent lives, requiring only a screwdriver to install. And yes, the vent still blows air.
The gauge is secured in place using an m6 thumb screw that pushes against the body of the gauge to hold it in place. This screw is 33mm away from the face of the gauge pod, so make sure your gauge has a long enough body to accommodate this. Otherwise wrapping electrical tape around the body of the gauge can also hold it firmly in place
