So you've just done a TH400 swap in your VF Commodore and need to know trans temp. Or maybe you've got a built motor and want to be able to see oil pressure in an instant. Maybe you keep pumping head gaskets and just want to see what coolant temp is actually doing.
Get one of our Centre Air Vent Gauge Pods so you have a clear view of whatever type of 52mm gauge you're trying to mount.
This replaces the original air con vent next to the centre display screen, it's a quick and easy install and requires no cutting or drilling. The design still allows air to blow through the vent, although it is reduced.
The gauge is secured in place using an m4 bolt that pushes against the body of the gauge to hold it in place. This screw is 22mm away from the face of the gauge pod, so make sure your gauge has a long enough body to accommodate this (most gauges are longer than this). Otherwise wrapping electrical tape around the body of the gauge can also hold it firmly in place
